Sewing level: Intermediate. This pattern requires prior experience working with stretch and knit fabrics. This is not a first-project pattern.
Seam allowances ARE included. Noted on the cover, throughout the instruction book, and on every pattern piece.
This pattern requires stretch fabric. A standard woven fabric will not work. Use a stretchy knit such as cotton/Lycra jersey or a fabric with spandex content — fabrics that move with the body and recover their shape after wear.
A serger or overlock machine is strongly recommended. A standard straight stitch will not hold on stretch fabric under regular wear. A stretch stitch or serger is needed for a durable result.
Check the size chart before purchasing. Sizing standards vary by region. The size chart is in the listing photo gallery — waist and hip measurements are the key references for this pattern.
