Men's Jacket Sewing Pattern — ENCANTADO · Sizes S–XXXL · PDF · A4 / A0 / US Letter

Some garments are made to be worn for decades. The Encantado is a men's zip jacket built in two contrasting fabrics — a structured body in wool or tweed, raglan sleeves in eco-leather or velvet. The kind of piece you make once and reach for every season. Slow fashion. A deliberate choice.

✦ This pattern was reviewed and improved in 2026.

⚠ PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE
Sewing level: Intermediate. This pattern requires prior experience with woven fabrics, zip insertion, and mixed-fabric construction. This is not a first-project pattern.
Seam allowances are NOT included. Noted on the cover, throughout the instruction book, and on every pattern piece. The instruction book includes a step-by-step guide for adding seam allowances correctly before cutting.
This pattern requires two contrasting fabrics. The body calls for a structured woven — wool with elastane, worsted wool, or soft cashmere. The sleeves call for eco-leather, suede, or velvet. The contrast between the two is central to the design — fabric choice will define the finished result.
Check the size chart before purchasing. Sizing standards vary by region. The size chart is in the listing photo gallery — chest and shoulder measurements are the key references for this pattern.

WHAT YOU WILL MAKE
The Encantado is a collarless men's zip jacket with a structured wool or tweed body and contrasting raglan sleeves in eco-leather or velvet. A centre-front metallic zip runs the full length. The silhouette is clean and slightly relaxed — a jacket that works as well over a t-shirt as it does over a shirt.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
The download includes a layered PDF pattern with all sizes from S to XXXL, available in A4, A0, and US Letter formats, along with an illustrated instruction book featuring professional diagrams, photo tutorials for key construction steps, a sewing glossary, and a full video tutorial.

A NOTE ON PRINTING
The files are designed without printer margins — a slow fashion choice, to minimise paper waste. If your printer adds margins, some lines near the page edges may appear incomplete — this is not an error. The instruction book explains how to complete them, fully guided.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
Main fabric 1 (wool/tweed): 85 cm · Main fabric 2 (eco-leather or velvet): 90 cm · Interfacing: 10×60 cm · Metallic zip: 60 cm · Matching thread · Ruler, tape measure, scissors or rotary cutter, iron, pins or clips.

INSTANT DOWNLOAD
This is a PDF sewing pattern — no physical item will be shipped. Due to the digital nature of this product, no refunds will be issued once the file has been downloaded.

beautiful jacket..

It seems perfect for spring and fall. It wasn't much harder than I thought and was fun to make. I'm also satisfied with the outcome.
