Sew it once. Wear it for years. The Liviu Shirt is a slow fashion menswear pattern built around three heritage details that turn a classic button-up into a shirt worth keeping.

Most shirts are forgotten in a season. This one isn't. The Liviu Shirt is cut for smaller frames - sizes XXS through M - with the same considered construction you'd expect from a tailor, not a trend cycle.

→ Chest pocket tab - a small detail that reads as intentional craftsmanship every single time

Collar construction, sleeve setting, buttonholes - you should be comfortable with these. Every signature detail - the pocket tab, sleeve tab, and gusset — is broken down clearly in the instructions so you can focus on execution, not guesswork.

✦ CHOOSE YOUR FABRIC

Structured woven fabrics with minimal stretch work best - they support the collar, placket, and tabbed details that make this shirt what it is.

Fabric / Why it works:

Tencel (Lyocell) blend - Soft hand, subtle sheen, falls beautifully

Oxford or chambray - Textured and hardwearing - details read clearly

Poplin - Crisp, lightweight, a true warm-weather shirt

Linen or linen blend - Relaxed and breathable, improves with every wash

Avoid thin, flimsy or stretchy fabrics — they fight you around the collar and placket.
