There is something honest about making what you wear. The Casanova is a men's swimwear trunk — clean in silhouette, precise in construction, built to be made once and worn for years. Slow fashion. A deliberate choice.

⚠ PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE

Sewing level: Intermediate. Prior experience with stretch fabrics, PDF pattern assembly, and adding seam allowances is required. This is not a first-project pattern.

Seam allowances are NOT included. Stated on the cover, in the instruction book, and on every pattern piece. A 10 mm seam allowance is recommended throughout. The instruction book includes a full step-by-step guide on how to add it before cutting.

Swimwear fabric is specialist. Standard stretch knit will not work. You need a four-way stretch fabric with chlorine resistance, UV resistance, and fast-drying properties. Full fabric guidance is in the instruction book.

An overlock machine is strongly recommended. A standard straight stitch will not hold on swimwear fabric.

Check the size chart before purchasing. Sizing standards vary by region. The hip measurement is the key reference for this pattern.

A NOTE ON PRINTING

Our files are designed edgeless to minimise paper waste — a slow fashion choice. If your printer leaves a small margin, some lines near the page edge may be incomplete. The instruction book explains exactly how to complete them. It takes a few minutes and is fully guided.
